My life in a nutshell

I think i should start this thing off by introducing myself. Hi, I'm Josh! I've traveled all over the world and i have so many more places to go before i die. I grew up with missionary parents and as a family we lived in Brussels Belgium for a year learning french before moving to Africa. Then again that's hardly the start of my traveling. I was born in Lafayette Louisiana, same as my sister. After that we moved to Southern California for a little while before heading to North Carolina to live at the JAARS center while my folks trained and prepared to go over seas. After my younger brother was born we moved back to California, where the majority of my family resides. After a little bit of time in Cali we moved to Belgium for a year to learn french before embarking off to Africa. We spent two years in Africa, came back for a year to California and then back to Africa for another two years. After that we lived in North Carolina for what felt like forever, having moved every couple years of my life, settle down for a while definitely took some getting use to. After high school, my parents and my younger brother moved out to Arizona to start up again out there and follow their mission. I lived out in Catalina with them for a short time but then moved back to North Carolina and enrolled in community college outside of Charlotte. Two years into that and a couple relationships later i decided i should go to East Carolina to get a "college" experience. Unfortunately after a year i brought my hard earned 4.0 gap down to a 2.0 and came to the conclusion i should probably look into getting my education somewhere else. I moved back to Charlotte for a short time, up to Greensboro and eventually to Bellingham Washington for about 6 months. Like i said, I've done a pretty good bit of traveling in my life and I've got so much more to do. After Washington i came back to North Carolina to go to Appalachian State university and finish my degree. Two and a half more years working away on that and i finally finished it and that brings us almost up to date.
Now for the current information. I'm 27 with a 4 year (took me almost 7) degree in Appropriate Technology. I'm getting ready to go to Yeosu South Korea to teach English for the next year to Kindergartners. I can not even begin to explain to you how excited i am for this part of my life to begin. Like i said in my title, Life is what you make it!
